Bauhaus Inspired, double story.
The challenge for this design was to use the newly presented tool to create a second floor for the apartment.
The tool turned out to be super easy and effective to not only create, but also decorate and fit out the second floor. For that I am truly thankful. To fit the staircase and create the vertex posed to be a bit of a challenge. The design style of the house was inspired by the gorgeous Bauhaus models. This is the in between space while walking downwards from the upstairs. Window on the landing create enough light.....as well as the light installation on the wall which almost poses as an art piece.
The second seating area was created in front of the impressive fireplace! With enough seating when you pull out the cleverly hidden ottomans from under the shelves.
From the top floor, the stairs flows into the first sitting area.
Bauhaus style seating was used to decorate the sitting areas. The color scheme through the whole house was in neutral black, grey and shades of white.
The front door to the house flows into the big open plan living, dining room and kitchen, which was cleverly divided in different functional zones. In this picture is the focus on the console table place in front of the window.
The console table in front of the window creates a welcoming picture in the reception area of the house.
The kitchen and dining area flows freely into each other.
Big windows and a glass door which will flow out onto a terrace. Frosted glass was used to create a little bit of privacy.
Sitting by the table, eating a meal or having a well deserved cup of tea.......this the view into the rest of the space.
Modern kitchen and enough storage to keep it well organized and clutter free.
How comfortable is this chair....to sit and relax after a long day....or to start the new day in a calm and relaxed way.
On top of the stairs this little office and lounge area was created.
The graphic white and black color scheme of the bathroom created a modern and clean look. Luxury bath products to spoil yourself!
They continued the color scheme of black, grey and shades of white and gave ode to the Bauhaus design style.
The master bedroom with it's amazing view on the beautiful church and gardens!
This is a small patio area off the upstairs lounge. A space to enjoy the sun and a little morning breeze.....and maybe has a little sundowner and enjoy the evening view.
The front door.....bespoke and with beautiful finishes to suite their style.
The entrance hall....and with the view into the living areas and the outside terrace.
Outside seating area.
Off the living areas are this terrace/ patio area with direct access to the garden.
