A homework for an interior design course, I wanted placing functions in the smallest space possible, while making sure the space feels big, functional and spacious.Floor Plan 84.02㎡
The living/dining room space is the main project, i placed a hypothetical kitchen near it.

The two spaces use contrast of furniture, carpet, and material to define themselves.

large green plants complements the red interior furniture and provide fresh air, it also enlarge the space.
The type of doors were also considered in the design, two sliding doors were used to save space for movement, one of them functions as window by providing sun light.

The bookshelf effectively divides the room into two spaces linked together by the surrounding walls and movement walkways and the contrasting colour scheme.

The Bookshelf is the center piece that allows for this contrast to be possible, it a substitute wall performing the same function in both living and dining space.
Contrast is also used within the flooring, curtains and even furniture.

The two large Circler carpets are the same size, they function by enlarging, defining and softening the space.

large tv and stands enlarge the space and provide surface are for placing objects decorative and otherwise.
Large furniture was used in the living room to enlarge the space, the living room isn't only defined by contrast of colour but also softness.

Decorative pillows are everywhere in the living room, function to complement with carpet and soften the space along side it.
