This house is inspired by a family that I am writing about in my novel. The Larkins, Josh and Penelope, with their 5 kids, Charlie, Bella, Aaron, Makayla, and Silvie. Creating this house helped me imagine their personalities and their likes and dislikes.

This part of the basement is inspired by my grandmother's playroom at her house. It is a place for Silvie to put her toys and for Makayla to practice for her band.

This room, belonging to the youngest children, reminds me of my sister and my room. Pretty in pink, it is the perfect mix of Silvie and Makayla that makes it a lovely room.
