Scandinavian Inspired Spa
*FYI: my sink/vanity didn't render properly I don't know why 🤷♀️*The word "Tropical" invokes a certain feeling. When you think about it, you see visions of large green flora, sandy beaches, and clear water, situated under a scorching sun. For this second submission of mine, what if we focused on an entirely different aspect of "tropical", one that was much less visible.
The golden word here is ✨️relaxation✨️.
What if I channeled that side of this very tropical nature and brought it indoors. I'm talking about the true hero of any tropical trip: the R&R. The time spent in the water, lounging on the beach, and letting all that stress melt away.
So for this design, I attempted to do just that. I brought the outdoors in with this building top spa. It is loosely inspired by Scandinavian styles with its neutral-ish color palette and modern, occasional wood forward furniture. This spa has absolutely everything. There is a small infinity pool that gives you great views of the water and some lounge chairs to relax in while getting some skincare on. There is also a bath tub and sink for skin appreciation. I wanted to go for an elegant/fancy vibe, so I hope this reflects that with the fixtures and copious amounts of free skincare, masks, soap, lotions, potions and things available for people to use. This spa does have a lot going on, but hopefully it's balanced well with the neutral walls, floors and that pop of tropical greenery.
