February may represent the transition from winter to spring. When I think of February, I think of Mardi Gras, not the Mardi Gras of Hollywood but the Mardi Gras that celebrates family and honors the ancestors. Inspired by this culture I created bright colorful, comfy home.

This design is in the tradition of a New Orleans Shotgun home. Legend has it that these houses got their name from the fact that you could stand in the front room and shoot a shotgun and it would go straight through!
