historic stone buildings in the U.S. date to the mid-18th century, the Curtis House in Stratford, Connecticut , is a prominent example of a traditional house with construction that began in 1745. Historically, colonial stone houses often used local materials like yellow clay for mortar or specific regional stones that could give them a yellow or earth-toned appearance. Never been remodeled or rebuild untill now. The second floor was added in 2025, and the redesined the floor plan was redesigned to add more rooms and bathrooms. I hope you enjoy the new design. I'm not an interior designer, I'm an architectural designer. I love remodeling and rebuilding old houses and businesses.
