Dining Room/Office - Idea 2

I'm fairly sure the table and chairs would fit along the left side of the fireplace, which would open the room up a lot. I don't use the dining table often, so this could work. I could move it out when I needed to entertain. But I think it would crowd the cabinet too much putting it here? Also, the rug situation gets a little weird.
