I am learning Home Styler for first time on my home condo renovation. I have figured out how to put in my floorplan (scaled to the inch), and have been able to figure out how to do a few details like recessed ceilings in a few places and things like that... but question...
I will be making a pretty custom kitchen land that will wrap around a support column and have two offset surfaces at different heights..etc..
How do I go about constructing that kind of idea in HomeStyler? I can't really use a pre-canned drag and drop island per say..
I think I can model the "base" of it by raising the floor up, that will be space where cabinets and some appliances will end up installed. So I'm not sure that raising it would be the right approach or using something to design the cabinets for the "base". But if there are any suggestions about that?
Then secondarily, how do I go about drawing in the two different surfaces that will be offset. The lower surface will be table height...not sure what material yet...and then offset on two dimensions will be a higher surface with the sink in it...and that surface will wrap around a large support columnn also.
Well anyway, I am just not sure how to go about realixing this concept in the Home Styler software.
