#MiniLoftContest-Dolly Mixtures
Neon bright city lights and a small urban pad for our real-life Dolly. Like most inner city properties space is at a premium and here the mezzanine bedroom area looks down upon a compact living space with dining area. A bright palette of red white and navy has given the interior a clean chic appearance. The tall walls have been utilised by numerous artworks and the space now works perfectly for a single girl in the city.

The template has been extended with an addition of a bathroom, balcony and a large bay window feature to add floor space in the sitting area. A partial wall has been removed to create a small entrance hall leading directly through to the kitchen. This interior hopefully proves small can beautiful.

Bathroom
The bathroom is tiled in pretty mosaic tiles of red pink and white. A small step down from the sitting area brings you into this welcoming space housing a long narrow vanity unit with under sink storage, and a built-in shower with sliding doors.
These sliding bevelled doors have been used throughout the property.
The mezzanine area has been carpeted and now has the addition of railings with glass panels for safety. There's a small double wardrobe and overhead cupboard space for Dolly's clothing.
An addition window has been added and a wall of artwork is a colourful feature of the apartment.
A little display cabinet sits directly at the top of the staircase ladder.
Navy and white bedroom area with a contrast of vertical stripe fabric behind the display shelving.
A head for heights is needed to reach the bedroom area via this steep ladder access.

LivingDiningRoom
Dolly mixtures colours of red white and lavender blues... with contemporary furnishing to present an interior of chic simplicity. The bay window extension looks directly out across the city.
A large mirror has been placed behind the dining table to give the illusion of extra space.
The lower floor area is two defined areas, the smaller the dining room leads out onto the small balcony area.
A optical illusion... or maybe double vision. The mirror extends the dining tables and rooms real dimensions,
I love how this artwork seems to show the city landscape outside.
Here is where I partially removed the wall to allow this entrance area to flow into the addition kitchen area.
Although small the hallway has enough space to accommodate a large display unit and coat rack.
Balcony
With just enough room for ne lounger and a bench seat the little balcony offers amazing high-rise urban views.
The view at night-time is truly spectacular.
Kitchen
The tiny kitchen space shares the same colourful mosaic tiles as the shower room and has pretty kitchen utensils and the wall lit units compensate for lack of an actual window.
A view of the entrance from the kitchen bring this tour of Dollys' apartment to a close at 10.10 by the hallway clock.
